With this award ceremony also managed to give visibility to the efforts made by these, but also by other companies operating in the agri-food sector in Malaga.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this <strong>second edition<\/strong>, The prize, which is sponsored by Cajamar and with the collaboration of the Diputaci\u00f3n Provincial de M\u00e1laga and Sabor a M\u00e1laga, the City of V\u00e9lez, Naecoer, the Port of M\u00e1laga, the City of Co\u00edn and Asaja, were awarded five companies in the primary sector. Specifically, five companies and institutions were awarded in different categories: Almensur, IFAPA Malaga, Citrus La Tana, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dehesalosmonteros.com\/empresa\/\">The Dehesa of the Monteross<\/a><\/strong> and Frutas Montosa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event, which was hosted by Ana Barreales, editor-in-chief of SUR, was attended by the following people <strong>businessmen and representatives of public and private institutions<\/strong> related to the agri-food sector in Malaga, one of the most booming in Andalusia in recent years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\" id=\"attachment_100000159503\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/dehesalosmonteros.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/2-1024x682.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5129\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Chelo G\u00e1mez and Jos\u00e9 Sim\u00f3n, Founder and General Director of La Dehesa de los Monteros, collecting the award yesterday from Manuel Cobo, CEO of Naecoer.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the <strong>Innovation and Internationalization section<\/strong>, The winning company was Dehesa of the Monteross, known for its <strong>\u2018Ib\u00e9ricos de Autor\u2019 (Iberian Cured Meat Products)\u2019 <\/strong>y <strong>for the chestnut premontanera <\/strong>with which they also feed their pigs in the pasture land of the Genal Valley. Among its major achievements in recent years has been the <strong>recovery of the blond pig<\/strong>, an Iberian breed that was on the verge of extinction. To this must be added the <strong>commitment and respect for the Serran\u00eda de Ronda's pastureland<\/strong>, The award was presented by Manuel Cobo, CEO of Naecoer, who presented it to Chelo G\u00e1mez and Jos\u00e9 Sim\u00f3n, founder and general manager of Dehesa of Monteros.
