Dehesa Monteros only breeds 100% Iberian pigs with proven and certified traceability. - From Iberian sire and dam 100%, with proven and certified traceability.

In addition, given the peculiar geography of our pastures, we have selected the Retinta and the Entrepelada as the most suitable breeds for the pastures of the Serranía de Ronda, from among the pure Iberian breeds (Lampiño, Entrepelado, Retinto, Rubio Andaluz, Manchado and Torbiscal).

Being thinner, lighter and more athletic, our reds and entrepelados are very comfortable going up and down the steep slopes and give us ankle-high pieces and stylized shapes.
